English Learners (EL)

Students who are identified as English Learners are provided with additional educational resources to assist them in their acquisition and mastery of the English language. Parents or guardians should contact their child’s teacher for more information on services available for English Learners and their families.

Special Education

The Pasadena Unified School District provides Special Education services to children identified as having special needs as young as two years old. The extent of participation in services is dependent on individual needs. Parents or guardians who feel that their child may be in need of Special Education services should talk first to their child's teacher or with school administrators.
